Contract Duration : 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and develop activities on lubricants.
• Develop new products in accordance with specific development briefs.
• Ensure that all methods and tests used are aligned to global testing standards (ASTM, IP, ISO & DIN).
• Assist in the manufacturing of trial batches and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and present scientific records and reports and keep abreast with changes in legislations.
• Research and evaluate new and alternative raw-material in accordance with COMPANY guidelines.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to formulation or product and packaging.
• Provide know-how and assistance to supply chain process and evaluate raw-material and finished products.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a National Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' working experience in a lubricant / chemical laboratory.
• A qualification in ISO 9001; 14001; 45001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Computer literate and proactive approach to decision making
